I gather that there has been some comment from the unemployable community as to the dearth of posts from the equally indolent No Good Boyo.
This is due to his contractual obligation to translate the next chapter of Anti-Danube by the weekend.
I recently sought to encourage him by glancing at his work in progress. "It could never be completed after your death," I cooed.
He has not left his cellar since.

I can't wait. I'd suggest throwing a bag of Pork Scratchings down there every couple of days, just to keep him hungry.
As a matter of interest, what are his source and target languages?
I too am looking forward to the latest installment. MC, judging by the gestation period, it may be more than an translation exercise: I fear that Boyo may be going beyond language as we know it. NB: James Joyce "completed" Finnegans Wake before he died, Mrs B.
If my German serves me correctly, they posts titles means "No breakfasts for you". Or is that fruhstuck?
That's not the literal meaning, Gyppo, but it is nonetheless what happened.
Ah, married life with a German speaker, that brings back memories (shudder)
Married life with a Welsh-speaker is payback enough, eh Ordo?
Being married to a woman who cannot speak at all would surely be heaven.
